Companions

Caregivers as companions can be a live-in or a live-out performing housework, shopping and other activities such as preparing meals, assist in dressing, bathing, running household errands and accompany to activities and appointments.

Companion caregiver to elders provide help and companionship when needed but at the same time, respects the privacy of the person they care for.

In many instances, the elderly client does not need the attention of a nurse, but rather requires a live-in/live-out person who can perform some light household duties who is trustworthy companion.
